Stitches are typically sewn in a flat pattern, which provides the embroidery with a smooth, clean, and professional finish. The standard size for logos is usually around 3 1/2 inches, but the final size can vary depending on the type of design and your specific preferences.

The Process of Embroidery

Step 1

Digitizing

Preparing a logo for embroidery involves a process called digitizing. This means programming the embroidery machine to accurately stitch the logo design.

Step 2

Stitched Sample

New logos are stitched and sent for customer review. Any modifications or corrections are made, and a new sample is stitched within one business day.

Step 3

Embroidering

Clamps, or “hoops,” are used to hold the garment and a stabilizing fabric. The hoops are mounted on the machine, and embroidery begins.

Step 4

Finishing

Garments are removed from the clamps, and excess stabilizing material is cut away. Any ring marks are steamed out, and garments are packaged.

About Embroidery:

Embroidery is an excellent option for custom apparel, offering a lasting impression of prestige and professionalism. But there are additional reasons why embroidery is an ideal choice.

Embroidery can be applied to nearly any garment style or material, making it perfect for orders with a wide variety of items. Durable and long-lasting, embroidered logos often outlast the garment itself. No special washing instructions are needed unless specified for the garment.

Another key benefit is a one-time setup cost. Once your logo has been digitized, no additional setup fees are required for future orders—unlike screen printing, which requires setup charges for each new order.
